Job Title: Marketing Operations Manager

Job Description: The Marketing Operations Manager is the conduit to represent divisional requirements to the central marketing organization. This key business partner understands the division’s specific business goals and requirements and represents them in process and implementation decisions. It translates the results of marketing initiatives to inform future decisions and investment of marketing programs, and to ensure well qualified leads to feed the revenue funnel. Works to ensure that marketing optimizes the end-to-end revenue funnel, from demand generation through the sales funnel, and to closed opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a culture of results-oriented demand generation.
- Global responsibility for building and launching campaigns in Eloqua.
- Assist with developing strategies and solutions for improving campaign performance
- Monitor, measure, and analyze all marketing initiatives, providing relevant feedback and lessons learned.
- Deep understanding of demand generation metrics with the ability to translate them for practical business application and decision making.
- Understand sales coverage models and the impact on lead assignment rules. Maintain lead assignment rules.
- Build and maintain lead scoring programs that leverage explicit and implicit buyer behavior.
- Work with divisions to develop lead nurturing campaigns.
- Educate marketing counterparts on systems and processes, creating awareness of best practices and helping them to understand what’s possible.
- Educate and support sales constituents on the lead process.
Education
- College/University degree preferred, but related professional experience paramount
Required Experience:
- Experience with CRM and MAP (Salesforce.com and Eloqua, or similar platforms) and the integration with the web and with CRM.
- Understanding of complex integrated marketing programs within automation tool and refinement for campaign performance optimization.
- Demonstrated success in partnering with campaign/program managers to develop and deliver effective marketing campaigns.
- Solid understanding of marketing metrics and their impact on the business.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Proficient in Windows environment, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Confident with strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), across all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently and in a dynamic environment
- Ability to drive ideas to execution
- Creative and hardworking
- Fluent in English
