Validation rules are awesome. Did your contact forget to fill in their first name? Wonderful, a little red "Required" pops up on the form to the right of the field (provided you punched in "Required" as the "Error Message" after selecting "This field is required" for the "First Name" field).
But what if, while creating the form in Eloqua 10, someone (I will find you) selects a "Validation Failure Page"?
Well, be prepared to remake that form. From scratch. Because as far as I can tell, once a Validation Failure Page is selected, you can't unselect it. You can't go back to the sweet, sweet blankness that causes the desirable result originally described above.
Does anyone know a workaround? I want to go back to the Validation Failure Page field showing as blank. I think it's silly to redirect someone to a landing page for not filling in a field per certain specifications (although in rare cases I do see how that is not a bad feature for providing explanation as to those specifications).
Thanks, Eloquans!
