This role requires the individual to be an experienced user of Eloqua, our email marketing communications tool, and able to provide system support wherever needed. We will need you to be a strong team player and willing to support both your line manager and own team members, as well as other key Eloqua users across the company as a whole. This person must be someone who is willing to get on with the day-to-day elements of the role as well as show initiative whenever opportunities arise. We are looking for someone to be confident in project management and who has the ability to make innovative and proactive suggestions for improvements.
Responsibilities:
· Manage the Eloqua e-marketing tool, including Email Templates, Distribution lists and Reporting
· Support the email send process as necessary for all outbound GSMA email communications
· Maintain the Email Communications Calendar and schedule/re-schedule communications, as appropriate. Help establish email approval and frequency rules and ensure adherence.
· Work closely with other teams providing ongoing Eloqua administration and email support
· Train new users in building Email templates and be the central point of contact for Eloqua and email related queries
· Promote best practice for email communications, across Marketing and the wider business
· Create new templates as needed according to user requirements whilst adhering to brand guidelines
· Organising and maintaining a clear structure system for assets and folders
· Use knowledge of Eloqua functionality to explore opportunities for improvement and use of wider features
· Provide insight for future email communications through analysis of open and click-through rates, as well as other reporting measures
· Advise on data protection requirements
. Competencies/Skills
Essential:
· Must have Eloqua experience and a proven track record in creating and sending email communications using Eloqua
· Excellent attention to detail
· The ability to multi-task and maintain a high standard of work
· Confident in dealing with a variety of people, including senior executives
· Good communicator / influencer – both verbal and written
· Good IT skills – including MS Excel and Outlook
· Self-motivated and able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
· Strong customer service skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
· Ability to work with cross functional teams
· Data protection knowledge
Desirable:
· In-depth knowledge of Eloqua functionality, such as Forms, Filters, Landing Pages, Campaigns and Programs would be highly advantageous, as would knowledge of HTML
· A flair for graphic design / image manipulation
· Hands-on experience implementing Eloqua Cloud Connectors
· Knowledge of closed loop reporting and traditional sales funnel pipeline processes
· Experience of dealing with international customers would also be an advantage
· Experience working in the mobile telecoms or other ICT sectors is an advantage – but not essential
