Essential Duties
- Enable visibility by consistently monitoring the business including all key indicators from a financial and operational perspective (partnering with dotted line teams from multiple functional areas)
- Oversight of, and creation of, linkages for cross-functional projects, initiatives, and efforts across the senior leadership team.
- Key advisory role to senior executive.
- Active role and participant on the leadership team.
- Assist in development of staff meeting agendas to ensure agenda topics are timely and relevant while maintaining an effective balance between tactical execution and frequent monitoring of longer term strategic alignment and follow-up.
- At direction of the senior executive, provide oversight of longer term initiatives, working closely with critical teams across functions and maintaining alignment with the company’s overall strategy, in-flight 3 year operating plans and general principles, e.g. process / system simplification.
- Represent the priorities of the senior executive on his or her behalf across the entire Level 3 organization.
Education and Experience
- Experience: 7+ yrs
- Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
- Field Of Study: Business Administration, or related field
- A combination of education and experience is acceptable: Yes
- Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize with good time management skills.
Knowledge, Skills or Abilities
• 3 - 5+ years of functional expertise in at least 3 of the following areas: Operations, Finance, Strategy, Product Mgmt/Development, Sales, IT, Marketing or Business Operations; • MBA (or equivalent experience) preferred; • Strong industry experience and within Level 3 organization preferred; • Ability to navigate and connect the dots on a global scale all while servicing customers and driving initiatives with key stakeholder interfaces regionally and globally; • Strong executive level communications and presentation (oral and written); • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills; • Clear and ongoing representation of strong strategic experience and perspective; • Ability to structure and manage complex projects with limited direction; • Ability to manage and speak on behalf of the senior executive when directing resources; • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills; • Exceptional organizational skills; • Expert in Microsoft applications (especially PowerPoint and Excel); • Exceptional judgment and extreme confidentiality as a trusted partner; • Travel will be required.
