In the past we have outsourced the build of complicate pURLs to an agency that is good and that we have worked with in various occasions effectively.
The problem we encounter when briefing the PURLs is that it takes up a lot of time to explain what we would like. Once the project starts, when we believe everyone is clear, we go back and forward a lot, and deadlines are never met. At the end we almost feel we could have built it ourselves, spending little more time and no extra money.
Obviously the way the pURLs are briefed here, is key, but the number of versions, images/copy and rules can get quite complicate in some instances. It's difficult to explain in a Word doc/ Excel how we want things to appear. Does anyone have a template or best practice document on how to brief pURLs for outsource in a simple and effective way?
Has anyone outsourced pURLs without encountering major issues?
