I have 2 major questions about cookies:
1. Is there an easy way to provide a browser with a button to clear their Eloqua cookies? (explanation below)
2. Is there any way to disable the Eloqua cookie if someone forward's an email?
* note - We are currently in the process of implementing progressive profiling
The situation is that we have a large number of people who forward our emails to others, and when these people click on links in the email they are being assigned an Eloqua cookie and thus we aren't capturing any new information for them.
Question #1 would be a setup that display a welcome message and a hyperlink allowing them to "sign out" (clear/reset/null the eloqua cookie) and then refresh the page displaying a form.
Does anybody have any thoughts? I've hit a wall!
