As a seasoned sales professional, the Eloqua Consulting Sales Representative is responsible for selling a portfolio of services in an assigned geographic area. The Eloqua Consulting Sales Representative develops solutions that exceed customer requirements using the services available across all areas of Professional Services, Expert and Education.  The Eloqua Consulting Sales Representative also calls on C-Level and any high level marketing managers responsible for Marketing.

 


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Meets or exceeds revenue expectations by proactively building and closing on a strong sales pipeline
- Maintains sustained sales activity and reporting through Sales Cloud CRM system
- Responsible for locating, conducting and presenting proposals and value propositions to prospect base. This involves applying a consultative approach to C-Level contacts and developing customized solutions to exceed customer requirements
- Develop, expand, meets with external sales channels such as Field and Corporate Sales, the Account Management Team and the Partners.
- As appropriate, develop contacts directly with end-user clientele
- Creates and executes on strategic plans for all markets including Verticals.
- Review leads and pending orders, developing action plans to progress each cycle.
- Meets forecasting objectives. Keeps timely and accurate forecasts on prospects.
- Enters all opportunities and activities into sales database
- Adds competitive intelligence
- Conducts quality selling activities
- Routinely demonstrates and creates a helpful and positive work culture


QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

- 8+ years of advanced selling assignments; Eloqua selling experience is preferred
- Negotiating experience.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience

Desired Skills and Experience

The Eloqua Consulting Sales Representative is responsible for selling Oracle consulting services. Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry, product segment, or channel.

 

Preferred Experience:

8-12 years of relevant field sales experience.

Able to develop strong internal relationships.

Able to network and develop strong business relationships with customers such that they turn to Oracle for their resource needs.

Able to generate leads and submit proposals to the client utilizing a broad knowledge of Oracle service offerings.

Able to generate consulting services and nurture and close the transaction.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.
