Re: Creating new process for email requests - Can anyone share what processes you've implemented?

As an agency this is something we do every day for our clients.  We have developed an excel template (one day hoping to turn it into a web form) that has a tab for general campaign details (audience, goals, whether or not there are special considerations, etc), a tab for any email being sent (this includes send date/time, testing requirements, subject line, creative details, file locations, etc.) then a tab for any landing page being used (this shows any pertinent details on testing the landing page, whether or not there is a confirmation page and email being used, etc.).  Beyond that we have an internal process that varies by client but in general involves review cycles when PSD files get translated into HTML and then once the HTML is input into Eloqua.  That provides our clients two chances to check that what has been built is in-line with the specifications, inside those review cycles we have internal QA checks that validate functionality for the entire thing and simple things like link checks, grammar, etc.

 

While it sounds like a lot, it's a process I'd recommend instituting if you have a large organization with many hands touching campaigns.
