Hey all! Need some help from our amazing Topliners community!
I'm attempting to create a feedback form process, leveraging CORs (or the Events module) to capture all of the response data. At a high level, the process should look like this:
1. Contact submits feedback form
2. Feedback form triggers COR to be created, mapped to submitting Contact
3. Feedback form data passesto COR
4. COR unique code needs to also be captured in the form data <--- this is where the challenge comes in
My thought process is to add "Feedback ID" as a custom object field, and also as a hidden, pre-populated form field, but I need a way to ensure that it matches on both (since it's my unique identifier on the COR). I think I need javascripting... can anyone confirm?
And in case you're wondering - the reason I need the unique ID captured in the form data is due to reporting, as that will prevent me having to setup custom COR reporting, and allow me to simply use the form submission data reporting (yet still look up the COR record, if need be).
(I've re-written this post about 14 times, walking through all the different scenarios and then changing my mind on how that will work, so any and all ideas are appreciated!!)
