LinkedIn is looking for a Marketing Automation Manager to help build & run a modern marketing machine to drive business for our Marketing Solutions (LMS) products. Marketing Solutions is one of LinkedIn’s three business lines and it recently acquired the startup Bizo to further its mission of helping marketers engage professionals on the world’s largest professional network with 300M+ members.

 

In this role you’d have the opportunity to implement a marketing automation program to drive the Marketing Solutions business, requiring a combination of technical ability and business savvy. You’d partner with stakeholders on the marketing team to structure lead nurtures and then translate those requirements into complex Eloqua programs to create continuous demand generation engine. In addition you’d have access to LinkedIn’s one-of-a-kind B2B database to build advanced segmentation & personalized messaging that would be impossible at companies without our vast wealth of data.

 

The role sits on the Global Marketing Operations (GMO) team at LinkedIn, whose mission is to build the machine to enable world-class marketing at scale. The team supports both LinkedIn’s consumer marketing efforts as well as the B2B marketing efforts for all three business lines in a $2B+ business. The Global Marketing Operations team has been recognized for multiple awards across the marketing industry, including the Sirius Decisions ROI Award for its use of analytics and automation to drive sales productivity and the Eloqua Markie award for best lead scoring. Qualifications:

  • Desired - 4 years’ work experience administering Marketing Automation solution (e.g., Eloqua, Marketo, Aprimo, Unica); Eloqua is preferable
  • Two years of experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce.com, MS CRM, Siebel On Demand); Salesforce.com is preferable
  • Excellent problem solving and creative solution building skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment working with multiple teams including web development, IT, Sales Ops, and field marketing
  • Experience managing complex projects to on-time & successful delivery
  • Eloqua Certification or Eloqua training a major plus
  • Salesforce.com certification a major plus
  • Proficiency in learning complex software solutions
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, team building, and support skills
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness, motivation, initiative, and leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree a plus

 

 

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Number of nurturing templates built and campaigns automated
  • Leads and bookings sourced through automated marketing programs
  • Implementation of projects to drive a reduction in hours spent on manual tasks including list imports/exports, data cleanup, & data enrichment, through the utilization of automation

 

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (Campaign Ops, Field Marketing, Sales, Services, & support) to implement automation for marketing campaigns and programs
  • Work cross functionally within Marketing Operations to support all web efforts and joint projects
  • Assess marketing automation user and functionality utilization; provide recommendations on how to improve in both areas
  • Advise on best practices and train marketing ops peers with regard to marketing automation capabilities, testing, and projected results
  • Responsible for marketing automation for the Marketing Solutions business line
  • Provide expertise and best practices in implementing nurturing programs utilizing Eloqua and other source system data
