I agree you all: Marilyn Cox, Lauren Kincke, Mary Wallace, and at Julie Wingerter. I think the main differentiator between good and bad infographics is the story. Is it a compelling set of data that together jumps out as one clear answer to one clear issue? If it's not, then it easily can be muddled and no matter how beautiful it is, it won't do a good job of communicating expertise or message.
