Why are parameters in the link not working when tracked by Eloqua?

Hi everyone,

I have this very very big problem that needs to be solved immediately. So any help is very much appreciated. Here is my problem:

I have a link and I need to pass parameters into that link:

https://www.mywebsite.com/sample/en/hello?mt=1802page&loc=<span class='eloquaemail'>Country</span>&uid=<span class='eloquaemail'>CUSTID</span>&lo=1

Now, when I open the email and click that link, the link becomes https://www.mywebsite.com/sample/en/hello?mt=1802page&loc=%3Cspan%20class=%27eloquaemail%27%20%3ECountry%3C/span%3E&uid=%3Cspan%20class=%27eloquaemail%27%20%3ECUSTID%3C/span%3E

I noticed that the quotation marks in <span class='eloquaemail'>Country</span> should be single quotation marks, however when I upload my assets in Eloqua it becomes left quotation marks which I believe is ruining the link. So I removed the quotation marks and it worked! Unfortunately it only works when I don't track the links from Eloqua I need a solution wherein the links will work when being tracked by Eloqua as I need the tracked links for reporting.
