Hi Ai,
I'm going to answer you question in a couple of parts. Here's part 1, I'm gathering a bit more information to add the second part:
What happens when a contacts who receives a forwarded email and clicks on the PURL which takes them to a webpage that has a form with data lookup:
- Is the form pre-populated with original recipient’s information because of the PURL or will the person who opened the email see their info
- The form is pre-populated with the original recipient’s ID as that’s what the PURL is tied to
- If the person visiting the PURL is an unknown visitor does the system pre-populate the original recipient’s information?
- Yes, even if the person visiting the PURL is an unknown visitor the system will pre-populate the form with the original recipient’s information
- If the person is a known visitor does the form pre-populate with the original recipient’s information?
- Yes, even if the person visiting the PURL is an known visitor the system will still pre-populate the form with the original recipient’s information
