How do you handle updated email addresses and email opt outs?

If a contact is opted out from receiving email and a sales rep puts a new email address for that person into your CRM, do you keep them unsubscribed in Eloqua? Or do they become eligible to receive emails again with their new email address? Is there a best practice?

 

I'd like to hear how others are handling this in their organizations.  Thanks in advance for your input!
