Thanks Phil!

so I guess the only way we can know the numbers is by pulling a report in insight?

Hi Sean,

As the link  there includes the elq, you would be potentially sharing the personalised version of an email socially, so I would be tempted to create a landing page version of the email and share that socially as you suggest at the end of your post.

An alternative could be 'forward to a friend' functionality, where the link would take the user to a form where they can fill in their friend's email address and the new friend is then dropped into a campaign to send out the email

Hope that helps,

Phil

Hi Ben:

Thanks for the detailed info!

When the cookie values associate leads with Eloqua campaigns, does that lead association transfer to your CRM?

Just curious (if this lead flow process is strictly within Eloqua or is also CRM).

Hi,

If you go to Settings > Setup > Microsites, clicking on a microsite and then clicking the Landing Pages tabon the right gives you a list of the pages in the system for that microsite.

Is that what you're looking for?

Re: Custom update logic for fields?

Hi Rob,

I'd go down the conditional processing step route on your email only forms...

Conditionally if contact field for last name is blank, then add in the LAST_NAME value. To test this use the criteria not exactly and then the value ?* - this basically says not exactly any number of any character like a regular expression.

You could do this from an update contact record with custom values step.

Hope that helps,

Phil

No problem.  Yes, that's how I like to set it up.

For each of the sources that you want to differentiate on (organic search, paid search, social, email and so on and then specific campaign 2015Q1 PPC Offer 1 and so on) I would setup a campaign in Eloqua.  As long as you have Closed Loop Reporting (i.e. the campaigns sync over to SFDC) you can use the Eloqua campaign ids in the tracking - and use them to populate a hidden form field elqCampaignId (you need to do more setup to handle more than 1 in the scenario of most recent and original being tracked).

If you do not have Closed Loop Reporting you can use contact fields like Last SFDC Campaign Id to pass through the tracking ids - in that case you would use the salesforce campaign id as the code instead of the Eloqua one.

Hi Tyler Lewitt! Thanks for sharing this opportunity. Would you mind moving it over to the Job Board Group? That is a more appropriate place since this group is focused on Oracle Marketing Cloud's education (new classes, accreditation, etc.). Many folks have that bookmarked the Job Board and receive alerts when new posititions are posted. I would also recommend adding a bit more about the work environment. I realize you're a recruiter and may not work for this company, but it does help folks know what they can expect. Best of luck!

Re: How to reference custom fonts in Landing Pages?

I know this post is pretty old.  However, we are having the same issues with CORS access to remote fonts on CDNs.  Still trying to figure it out, but " enable cross-origin resource sharing " seems to be a set of solutions for getting to those fonts.  Will post if we can fix it and it works :-)

go to assets--> forms --> find your form from "open an existing form" --> once you access the form, click on the settings gear icon to the top right --> click on "view submission data" --> to the bottom left, you will see an export option --> click on that and choose the excel option..

How to get all members of a campaign - REST Api

$

Hi,

I'm trying to get a list of all contacts that are in any of the steps a certain campaign.

I tried to use this: REST API - Accessing Contact Activities but for some reason the API returns nothing if I use "campaignMembership" as a type.

Moreover I think its unhandy to do 1.000s of requests to identify 10 members a campaign.

Any advice or suggestions greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Simon

During the 2012 ceremony, I had tweeted out that meeting Joe Payne was on my bucket list. He saw this and read it during the ceremony then came out into the audience to give me a hug. I won the Markie for Customer Lifecycle Marketing that evening so it was a pretty awesome night!

Need to continue a completed campaign

Hi All,

Recently, one of our campaigns ended (Dec. 31) and due to the response I wanted to keep it going but was too late to extend the end date. Do you have any ideas how I can create a new campaign but allow it to have campaign members pick up on the stage they were at when the campaign ended? Thanks for your help!

Re: How can I dynamically update CDO records for multi-inquiry forms in E10?

$

We found a solution for this and it's far from perfect. You have to create an "Update CDO from Form Data" processing step and map your fields. This appears to give you a "handle" to the object; to update ONE field to a static value, you have to insert another "Update CDO from Custom Value" step *immediately* after that to set your field to the desired value. Order is very important. This appears to work.

However, there is an issue. You cannot change the order of the processing steps. If you somehow get them out of order, you have to delete them and re-do them in order. Eloqua has promised this to be fixed in a future release...

Hope this helps someone else!
